Usually for new blogs and less trafficked blogs shared web hosting is the best option and i recommend host gator or host monster

for a beginner a shared host is more than enough… but there are some hosting services which even the VPS is not enough! so better choose it wisely! thanks for the info bro!

I think you mean vps. In my opinion, reseller and VPS is still shared server hosting. Yeah — one hosting server (hardware) still use by multiple users in reseller and VPS.

why not just settle for a reseller or a vpn? I mean dedicated hosting is too expensive especially if youre not yet making big money. Reseller is the best bang for a buck I think

Only use dedicated server if your blog is great like johnchow’s blog, darren’s blog or FACEBOOK. The only thing we should consider went we have huge traffic is bandwidth. So I guess, using shared hosting from hostgator(unlimited bandwidth) is good enough. Plus, dedicated cost you a lot per month.

In some cases, dedicated hosting can cost more than 10x the amount of shared.

For 99% of bloggers, shared is the way to go and if they somehow get into the echelon of needing more, worry about the switch later. It’ll be a good problem to have.
