There are also some blog tips that say favicon useful to create visibility in bookmark list. I found that favicon also useful to create brand image for site/blog. A really unique favicon will increase awareness of the blog. Blog brand awareness is really important thing if we want to make money from our blog. It is as same as brand awareness of product in real world business. In internet, our blog is our product.
