Blog Contest and Benefits
As we aware, there are so many blog contest launch in blogosphere each days. And it is not only a contest but a great contest with great prize. This blog contest even already become one of online earning sources for many blogger. Yeah – blogger can produce good amount of money just by follow each blog contest available. I hear that some blogger can get around $300 just from blog contest alone which available in blogosphere. And It is not only for money, there are surely many benefit that can get from blog contest such as:
- More exposure for our blog
- Including in blogosphere network
- Get new blogger friend
- Some quality backlink
- Traffic for our blog
The Rason Do Not Follow Blog Contest
But – for all of the benefit above, I still rarely – may be never — follow a blog contest. You may wonder why even i aware the great benefits including in a blog contest. It is because only one reasont which is i do not have many time for blog contest. As you know, blog contest usually needs amount of spent time to get result. And i, as half time blogger which must manage my time between my daily work and blogging,I find it is really hard to having time so can focus in blog contest. Yeah – it is surely only one reasons but i still can not overcome it. Yes, i still can follow some blog contest but the result will be not optimum for sure. And i rarely want to follow something with half heart so usually i give up to be included in blog contest.
Conclusion
I conclude that blog contest is only for blogger that have many free time. It is surely not for half time bloggers like me which still hard to manage their time between blogging activities and daily working. Surely, bloggers still can follow the blog contest but it hard to have optimum result (win) from it.

I have to agree, I do not participate in blog contests. Most of them take up to much time. Sometimes if the reward is something I think is worth the time I will join. But as of right now, I have very little time to write new content, comment, and engage in social media. I have to use my time wisely, and with contests, there is anything to learn or use from in most cases.
Yeah, The limited time better use to improve our blog.
In a way you all may be right, but I do participate in competitions. I participate only if the contest is interesting. I mostly participate in competitions such as writing a review of a product,etc. and if the product is related to your blog then its an added benefit.
Hem… review a product contest seems interesting. At least, it will become our content source for our blog.
The other day I decided to try out a contest on my blog just to see what happens. I made my contest really simple by just asking people to post a picture anywhere on the internet with my blog URL, and leave the link in the comment.
I am curious to see how it ends up, and can’t wait to write about it once the contest is over.

I am also a part time blogger and can’t give much time for contests.I take part in the contests which does not include “blog about the contest” option which is a very time consuming job
Yeah — the time really matters for part time blogger. We should choose to improve our blog content as first choice, that’s why we do not enough time for blog contest, i guess.
