Nokia start the new phase of mobile phone evolution with Nokia N900 mobile phone. Nokia N900 use Maemo as operating system (OS). Maemo OS base on most known open source OS, Linux. Maemo OS allow user to experience using computer in mobile phone. Nokia N900 evolutes from previous internet tablet Nokia generation which is N770, N800, and N810. Nokia N900 adds mobile phone technology choice for user.
Nokia N900 support multitasking and also computer like experience internet surfing. By using Maemo 5 OS, Nokia N900 support user to insert many application software which can run while enjoy mobile phone feature such as touch screen and QWERTY keyboard. Nokia N900 hardware consists of ARM Cortex-A8 600MHz processor, up to 1 GB memory, and PowerVR SGX with OpenL ES 2.0 graphic accelerator. That’s why Nokia N900 can serve user like computer did. The Nokia N900 hardware and Maemo OS make user can use simultaneous application, and also change easily between application trough screen desktop. And this Nokia N900 panorama screen can personalize with many shortcut, widget, and user favorite application. I hope can have this one in near future so I can do my mobile blogging freely.

This device looks real nice. I do not like the keyboard one bit though. I will no give up my iPhone for this device. Plus it is probably going to cost $1000+.
Yeah, the gadget is good enough but surely not a perfect gadget.

The phone looks sexy. I’ve never tried Maemo technology but it looks like that nokia has taken a giant leap by adoption open source OS.

I am not really Nokia fan, but it caught my attention because of Maemo OS.
