I think the problem lies in the fact that everyone is trying to optimize their websites for the Big G, oftentimes overlooking other search engines who very well may still use meta tag keywords when returning results.

It’s funny how many myths about SEO get passed along. I really can’t stand “SEO Experts.” I think the biggest keys to SEO are the simple things: Use good keywords in your title, use good anchor words for links, get lots of links to your site with strong anchor words, and most of all, write solid content.

Yeah I had heard that google doesn’t use meta tags, but other search engines I believe still do. I use Platinum SEO pack plugin. Basically the same features as the AIO SEO, but has a little bit more. I still add the keywords cause I figure it can’t hurt. But it is not my focus. I think you probably get more out of posting more often with unique content. Which it looks like you do

Its a very sad news but a blog doesn’t depend only on keywords. It was an advantage but now it isn’t there.

AIO SEO plugin still has some advantages i.e. it allows you to choose site description and else that will appear in search engines.
