Google launch the newest product – Google Buzz. This newest product is said as competitor for Facebook and Twitter as the most popular social networking in internet for now. It is clearer if we look what exactly is offered by Google Buzz. Google Buzz allow to update status, share web link or photo with friends – directly trough Gmail service. Google Buzz also compatible with mobile gadget which use Android as operating system (OS). It even plan that there is special application launch to make Google Buzz can work with mobile gadget which use Symbian and Windows Mobile as OS.
If we see the Google Buzz service, it seems really look like the Facebook and Twitter feature key. This only mean that Google target the Facebook and Twitter users – target them to be Gmail users. If Google Buzz success, it mean that Gmail users will increase significantly. We should know how popular Facebook and Twitter. There are so many users there which is targeted by Google Buzz. And not in long time again, all of Gmail user can enjoy Google Buzz service. And Gmail users itself have big potential in it. Gmail is number three most popular email service in world – number three after Windows Live Hotmail and Yahoo Mail. So, we should already see that how big the potential for Google Buzz success.
And there are many features in Google Buzz which surely is found interesting by internet. As example, published status message will be automatically indexed and available in Google real time search engine. The contents are also easily shared in many Google’s online product such as Picasa and YouTube. And if I am not wrong, Google Buzz also can show Twitter message in it – but unfortunately, this facility is not working for Facebook yet. As we know that Google really try to join – to lead exactly – in social networking. Google already try it with Orkut but it seems Facebook beat Orkut perfectly. So, it is may be that Google’s luck is in this Google Buzz service. We never know, right?

I feel that the main purpose of launching Google Buzz is to compete with Twitter and Facebook! Although it will take some time for Buzz to take their place entirely, but it will one day be on top of the chart!

I think they just raised the bar for social media. Google Buzz is going to spread faster than any other social media in the past. It has features that make Twitter look obsolete.

I think it will take some time to have a strong foothold. Also, the privacy settings must be worked upon. It surely has the caliber to make it to the top!

I think Google afraid that Twitter and Facebook will outrank their company
Google afraid they lost in social networking because there are many potential in that market.
I’m testing out Buzz at the moment and I’m still not sure, it’s very easy to use, but I think I’m just to set in my ways with Twitter
People seems hard to change. I am kind new in twitter, that’s why i can enjoy the Google Buzz easily.
So far I’m liking Buzz. I always like to try something new and as I’m an avid Gmail user, it just adds an extra dimension.

An avid Gmail users certainly will be like google buzz.
There is one thing I liked about Buzz and one thing I did not like.
What I like is it cascades the messages related or that belongs to a thread which is lacking in both facebook and twitter.
What I dislike is it incorporated Buzz in email interface. I open my gmail account only once a day to check if I have any new mails but I open facebook and twitter innumerable times.
I actually like Google Buzz because of within gmail integration — but i think google should accommodate users which not use gmail so often.
Dana, the Buzz is really getting a lot of attention from the blogosphere. But I remember when everyone was talking about Google Wave, but no-one talks about it these days. I’ll stick with Twitter for now.
Google Wave is a failure. And for Google Buzz, i think it have potential. At least, i kind like it — not like Google wave, i directly ignore google wave back then.

I do not sure about the future of Google Buzz exactly — I just do not want to be leaved by train if Google Buzz really will be something so i use it from beginning.
