After choose the suitable domain and webhosting service for my new blog, next step is to install WordPress engine. We always can manually install the WordPress engine to our webhosting by using FTP and cpanel tools. This time, I choose to use Fantastico De Luxe software which is already provided in my cpanel for easy installation. Fantastico De Luxe software provides automatic installation for WordPress engine.
This is the steps:
- Go to domainname.com/cpanel and log in
- Click “Fantastico De Luxe” icon
- Choose WordPress, and then click to continue
- Follow all steps, and fill the form if there are any
- And WordPress blog already installed
It is very easy, isn’t it? But it is only the basic WordPress blog instalation although already can use to do blog activities. We will need many tweak on it, so the blog completely ready to use for worthy blog activities The most important thing that we must tweak is security, statistic and SEO as basic needs for our blog activities beside the post and comment of course. These three basic needs will be core for our blog activities.

I think I lucked out with my hosting provider by having this as part of my cpanel. I tried uploading wordpress to server first, but I kept getting errors. Then I happened to look down in my cpanel and saw this. Was so simple, and worked great!

Wow, i haven’t know if fantastisco provide customer service and guest book. I wlll check it.
Fatastico is simple. We don’t have to do anything, just keep clicking and it generates a new blog. Appart from it, Fantastico has so many other built in functions like customer service, guest book etc.
