TGFI.net SEO
I want to try another Wordpress SEO plugin other than my old “All in One SEO Pack” plugin. I install it for comparison sake. So, after do some research at Google, I chose to try “TGFI.net SEO” plugin. This plugin is known as the modified version from the old “All in One SEO Pack“. It is worth to try although this “TGFI.net SEO” plugin especially create for CMS base on Wordpress. Yah, I think it is still have same special benefit for Wordpress blog too. So, I decide to install it and prove the benefit by my self.
Here my way to install “TGFI.net SEO“:
- Go to “Site Admin” page
- Go to “Plugin” tab and click it
- Click “Add new” button
- Insert “TGFI.net SEO” at search form
- Click “Search Plugin” button
- The “TGFI.net SEO” plugin appear
- Click “Install” button
- Click “Install Now” button
- Click “Activate” button for “TGFI.net SEO” plugin activation
- I leave the default configuration of “TGFI.net SEO” for this blog. We can edit the configuration by use edit tab in “TGFI.net SEO” plugin setting if needed.
- Go to “Post” Tab and click it
- Click “Add New”
- Check if there is “TGFI SEO” instead “All in One SEO Pack” fill form that consists of Title, Description, and Keywords.
- It’s time to enjoy this powerfull SEO tools.
Ok, so the “TGFI.net SEO” already installed at this blog. I will monitor it a couple month to check the SEO affectivities result for this blog. I hope after this I can manage better rank at Search Engine for this blog niche keywoard. As always, I really open for input. Just leave it in comment form.
“TGFI.net SEO” should override titles, description and keywords with page/post level input for greater control of SEO. It also fix some duplication of title and meta info. Here the features:
- Override titles, descriptions and keywords with page/post level input for greater control of Search Engine Optimization.
- Auto-generate titles, descriptions and keywords when overrides are not present.
- Helps prevent duplicate content issues.
- Automatically appends tags as keywords when available.
- Makes sure your keywords are unique.
- Page and post level settings are kept when upgrading from the all-in-one-seo pack. You can even downgrade.

I’m using the Platinum SEO which is also a modified version of All-in-One SEO plug-in. I think they are mostly doing the same thing, just a few more different features

I really did not see the big difference with All-in-One SEO except some fix in duplicate page that detected by google webmaster. I still learning how it is going, anyway.

Yah, it seem this TGFI also modified version of All-in-One SEO and there are no big different of how it handle SEO things.
I’ve never heard of TGFI.net SEO. I know that Site Sketch was speaking very highly of Headspace 2. I’m still running All in 1 SEO, but i’m starting to wonder if i’m missing out. I look forward to hearing the results of your experiment.
Thanks for the info Dana. I have been using the Platinum SEO plug-in for Wordpress. Do you have a favorite or which one do you think is better, All-in-One, Platinum SEO, or TGFI?
Like Blake, I also reading about Headspace 2 on SiteSketch101 and it looks like its better than All-in-one SEO.
im using all in on seo pack but i think i will check out this modified version, you said so.

I found that there are no big diffrence between AIO Seo Pack with this TGFI. It may make big diffrence if use for CMS. I will check Headspace 2 after finish my experiment with TGFI. We surely do not know if we do not try, do we?

I do not yet try Platinum SEO so can not tell you about it, ut i can tell you about All-in-One and TGFI. I found that there are no big diffence beetwen AIO SEO and TGFI for this blog. It may different if i run it in CMS.

Yah, you can have both in your blog. TGFI is SEO tools that modified from All-in-One SEO pack indeed.

I use thesis theme which itself an SEO optimized theme, apart from using Thesis I use All in one SEO plugin and I am completely satisfied with it. Though this new plugin have a good reviews I will try it for my other blog in future. Thanks for sharing.

I stick with All in one SEO plugin. Have to wait and see the progress of this new plugin.
It seems the result is not big difference with All in one SEO till today. I may share the result in a post soon.
But i think all in one seo is the best for me
