Indonesia Telecommunication Creativity War

It seems that Indonesia telecommunication business once again in war zone. It is telecommunication business war between Fix CDMA operators and Mobile GSM operators. As I know, this war is started by XL which launched “XL Packet with CDMA price” packet which allow XL costumers have Mobile Wireless service with price of fix wireless Access (FWA). This launch surely provokes the Fix CDMA (FWA) operator. It is because Mobile wireless price should always above of Fix Wireless Access price base on Indonesia Telecommunication rule. And It s also usually the license and bandwidth price of FWA is cheaper then Mobile.

The rule also makes that the license and bandwidth price of FWA is cheaper then Mobile. So, the rule set to maintain the reasonable telecommunication business competition because there is no competition if mobile telecommunication price as same as fix telecommunication price. Of course, the costumers always prefer mobile if the price is same. So, it is normal that the Fix Telecommunication operator is provoked by this XL new product. It is clearly that only matters of time before FWA operators replies this provocation. That’s what I think.

And Indonesia is already in telecommunication business war now. Esia as one of FWA operators reply the XL packet with “Bispak” packet. This “Bispak” packet makes the wars even bigger because it does not only attack XL, but also attacks others Mobile GSM operator such as Telkomsel and Indosat. Yes, it is true because “Bispak” packet allow Esia costumers to use XL, Telkomsel, and Indosat pricing by only use Esia sim card. It allows Esia costumers to directly compare XL, Telkomsel, and Indosat price with Esia price.

In my opinion, this telecommunication business war is creativity war. Both of “XL Packet with CDMA price” and “Bispak” packet are produced by product team creativity. The product team of the telecommunication operators seems in peak performance. It will be really interesting if Telkomsel and Indosat also make their move. We can see how far the creativity will go. It may produce the unthinkable telecommunication packet. It is really interesting to wait the outcome of this telecommunication business war. And I hope that many people can gain something worthy from it, especially for whom in business field.
