Subscription and Recurring Payment in PayPal
Recently, I have costumer request to buy one of my products in my other blog trough PayPal. Of course, I really happy to follow up this transaction, but the customer give me a little headache because he/she request me to create different two recurring subscription in PayPal regarding to this transaction. It is really hard work for me because I do not know anything about what subscription and recurring payment in PayPal is and how to create it. So, I do what I usually do if I do not know about things in internet world. I go to Google and do search about what and how PayPal subscriptions.

How to create PayPal Subscription and Recurring Payment
- Login to PayPal account

- Click “Merchant Service” Tab

- Click “Website Payments Standard” Tab

- Go to “offer automated payments” and then click “Create one now” button

- Fill the form of Step 1:




- Fill the form of step two:




- Fill the form of step three:

- Click “Create Button” button

Use PayPal Subscription and Recurring Payment Email Method
Please note that I create this PayPal subscription and recurring payment for only one customer which have special price that different from others costumers. That’s why I choose the email method instead website method. Email method allows me to send a payment unique link to costumers directly. And I still can create others payment link for another customers with different price as many as it is needed. This flexibility and privacy can not get if use website method. The button will saturate your blog for different price scheme if use website method. And there is no privacy in website method.
Conclusion
You will need to create subscription and recurring payment system for you online product if you monetize your blog. This service need to have automatic payment from your buyer which really helpful. And you can have it easily by use PayPal subscription and recurring payment feature or also can use WordPress plugin like OIO publisher. I have my subscription button working, but can you do a tutorial on how to have paypal send back to me variables in the URL? Because when the user lands on the thank you for ordering page, I need to be able to update the database with the subscription option that they selected.

I don’t know if you have any updated info on this.. but it seems Paypal isn’t giving the option to email a URL for recurring payments.

I created one website, i need to collect the registration fees form the user. which paypal button i have to use. I dont know anything about paypal. Can u explain me how to start? which account i have to create? Business or premium account?
If the payment is recurring, you should follow the step in this article. You should have a premier account.

Hem.. it’s strange. I have rechecked on my PayPal account, and the “offer automated payments” is still there. You should check it more carefully I think.

I implement Subscription Button for Web. I am unable to receive 2nd payment automatically in Sandbox. I am using my two sandbox accounts Buyer & Seller.
After reading this tutorial i just confirmed that i am on the right way. But whats the problem i don’t know. If anyone can help i will be thankful for this.
