How To Check Directories Backlink

Recently, I really wonder if all the submitted directories really worthy to my telecommunication blog . I think a lot of it after many telecommunication niche blog refuse to do exchange link with my telecommunication blog and the reasons is because my blog already have massive outbound link. After do some check at my telecommunication blog, I find that the Link Directory list have many outbound link. Yah, it is true that the links of directories list are not only factor for my massive outbound link because I also found that there are many links at my blog post and also at my blogroll. But, Links of directories list still contribute many outbound links.

I do not have second thought at outbound link from blog post and blogroll. It is because I have fully control on it. I always know what I gain from the link at blog post and blogroll. And of course, what I know what suffer from it too. It can be said that I fully aware of how and what the link at my blog post and blogroll. And I always can check the link every time I need to. That control is what I miss at my Link Directory lists. I just put Directory link without never sure those directories truly add my blog link at it. And also, there are many directories that do not have search facility to check backlink for our submitted blog. It is a loss if my blog did not get backlink from those directories.

Yah, It is a really big loss if I can say it. My blog seems only give one way link to those directories because my blog never get backlink from those directories. It is still OK for me if the outbound link from my blog point to niche quality website which is important to my blog reader, but the directories never be important for telecommunications blog readers. I may exclude telecommunication directories here. Telecommunication directories still have benefit for my telecommunication blog readers. At leas, my telecommunication blog readers can fine list of good telecommunication blog there. So, there is still benefit for them.

So, I go to digitalpoint forum for asking about how I can determine which directories give backlink to my blog. I got many answers in my thread there. One of the answers tells me to use Google webmaster for it. Firstly, I wonder if Google webmaster can do it. Therefore, I make sure of it by check my Google webmaster. And guest what did I find? Yah, I found that Google webmaster really can help to determine if there is a backlink from directories. We can check by open “Your site on the web” tab, and then click at “Links to your site“. The all backlink to your blog will appear.

It really needs hard work to check directly the directories backlink on my Google webmaster because there is no search tools facility in there. Therefore, I download all inbound link by click at “Download all external links”. It downloads all inbound link to my PC as .csv format. So, I can open it with my usual editor software and do easy search on it. It is really easy to search directories backlink with this way. I use the search result to remove the directories link that do not give backlink to my blog. And my blog will never suffer for any non benefit outbound link anymore.

Btw, we also can use Yahoo site explorer for it. I, my self, prefer to use Google webmasters because my telecommunication blog traffic really depends to Google search engine. Therefore, it is more reasonable to see my blog backlink in Google eyes than yahoo eyes. But, there are some benefits to also use yahoo site explorer to check blog backlink sometimes. It is because yahoo site explorer counts each backlink without exception like Google does. So, yahoo site explorer is suitable if we want to look total backlink to our blog.
