As you may aware, I already write one article about Google Buzz – Is Google Buzz competitor of Facebook and Twitter — an article about how Google Buzz seems target Facebook and Twitter users migrate to Gmail. And now, i want to write a part of my experience in Google Buzz trial – about how i use Google Buzz exactly. It is no need some special configuration to use Google Buzz because it is already run properly and integrate with our Gmail account. But – as you know – a new launch service always give some confusing.
So, here I am to share how I use Google Buzz. I hope it can help you as guidance in Google Buzz using.
As I already write before, Google Buzz already integrate in Gmail Account. So, the first thing is login to Gmail account and see the Google Buzz part in it – right below my inbox – and click it.
The Sharing
Buzz link clicking will show the Google Buzz page to me. Yeah – I am in Google Buzz world now.
Now, I ready to Buzz the world! I can share many things trough Google Buzz form– such as my thoughts, an interesting link,and great Photo.
Connected Sites
I integrate my sites to my Google Buzz trough built in “Connected Sites” feature.
I just click the “Connected Sites” link and it will bring me to “connected sites” page. I find lists of available site which i can choose freely to integrate it with Google Buzz. I my self choose to integrate three sites which are twitter, this Bloging Tips Blog, and my Telecommunication Blog. This make all update of these three sites will automatically trigger an update in my Google Buzz – and share it to all of my Google Buzz followers. Please note that I should input my blog url in my Google profile before it appear in “Connected site” lists of Google Buzz.
The Follow
As others social networking, the whole system is depend to follower – and there is no exception for Google Buzz. I should have as many as possible targeted followers to gain maximum benefit from it. And thanks to Gmail integration which make all Gmail account in the list automatically following. It make that I will have followers automatically too – my Google Buzz directly have around 12 followers in first time my Google Buzz active with do nothing. But – of course that is not enough to get great benefit. Therefore I need to improve my followers as fast as I can. For that – I always remember an old adage in social networking which say: “give first and you will get the return”. Base on my own experience, It is applied on almost all of social networking. If I start follow someone, someone will follow me back. So, first thing that I do – try to search people to follow. I can easily find it trough “find people” features of Google Buzz. Just click it.
It will bring me to “find people” page in which I can search people by their name or email address. I can easily find the email address trough my blog comment form and fill the finding in search form and then click “search” button. And voila! I always have people to follow.
Another way to get more followers in Google Buzz is by expose the Google Buzz account in blog. It will make my blog readers can follow me in Google Buzz easily by click my Google Buzz account link. And that’s exactly what I try here. I share my Google Buzz profile trough icon below. So You can click it if want to follow me in Google Buzz,and I surely will follow you back immediately after you follow me.
Final Words
There are three things that I do when use Google Buzz which are sharing, connected sites, follow. In my opinion, all of those three are the basic things that we can and should do in Google Buzz. I hope that Google will add more features in future so Google Buzz really can be a main player in social media networking like what Facebook and Twitter already done now.

Google Buzz has been more like a clone of twitter dude, wat you say, i feel it needs a better renovation to keep it alive amongst the rest.
Yup, it seems a like but i like gmail integration of Google Buzz — that’s why i use it.

I think google should redesign how Buzz looks like instead put google buzz in Gmail account. I don’t like it because it don’t have a specific site. Besides the appearance also not attractive at all..

Nice explanation – I just started using GB yesterday and like it a lot. I think that it will help a lot to boost use of both Friend Connect and Reader – and eventually Wave. But how do I use Google Wave ?!

Its really a useful article for a newbie for using google buzz to generate traffic to his website and also to make frientds and conncections throughout the words..google buzz is quite famous among these days but i dont think it will compete to the gaints of social media marketing i.e facebook and twitter..yahoo ‘s mybloglog is also another great example of social community…
