Google Analytics is always my favorite as traffic analyzing tool. It is because Google Analytics provide so many useful information regarding our site/blog traffic. As you know, each information of site/blog is the very important source for further site/blog improvement planning. We always can plan how to improve our blog/site in right way as long as we have our the right and precise information. And that’s what Google Analytics is providing in my opinion – the complete aspect of site/blog traffic. Therefore, I submit my new ClearType WordPress Theme blog into Google Analytics.
I do it in three simple step. Here we go:
Step #1. Getting Analytics Code
As the first step I shall create new account for this new blog so I can get the Google Analytics code. The code that I must put in my blog theme code so the traffic can be analyzed. And here how I do the whole process until getting the code:
- Log in to Google Analytics account
- Click “Add new account”
- Click “Sign Up” button
- Fill the form and then click “Continue” button
- Accept the TOS and click “Create New Account” button
- Copy the code and paste to notepad
Step #2. Put Analytics code into ClearType
After getting the code in Step #1, I go to step #2 which is how I put the code into ClearType WordPress Theme. Honestly, It is the really simple step because of ClearType Theme Option feature. This great feature allow me to put Google Analytics code without some .php file customization as usual for other regular WordPress Theme. Here how I do this simple process:
- Log in to WordPress dashboard
- Go to “Appearance” and click it
- Click “ClearType Theme Options”
- Go to “Site Tracking” area
- Select “Yes” to activate tracking function
- And then Put the code in it
- The code putting have done perfectly.
Step #3. Checking The Submission
The checking after do some work is always a must. It is to make sure if everything is working as we want. And this time is not an exception. I need to go to my Google Analytics account again to see whether the newest submission is working fine. Here how I do it:
- Log in to Google Analytics
- Click in the account name of newest submission
- Check the status information whether there is a green mark as in picture below
- If so, the Google Analytics submission is working fine
Final Words
Google Analytics is a must traffic tool for site/blog in my opinion. And here I share how we can submit a blog which use ClearType WordPress Theme. The way is quite simple which I am sure many of this bloggers readers already know how to do it but I am sure that there is always people who need some little guide to easier their blogging life.
