I think that each bloggers surely have their favorite blogs. And i also have some in which i learn many thing – but especially about blogging. Yeah – it is because i blog more about blogging here in blogging update blog. As many said, we should be recognized in our niche to gain success state in our blogging. Therefore i read many blogs in my niche and fave some of it. Usually, Blogs become my favorite because i learn many things about blogging from it which I can use to gain my own blogging success.
From my own experience until now, we surely need to read our favorite blogs in right way for optimum learning. As many my fave blogs are successful blog, the contents are about how success they are currently and what they do in that blogging success state. What i see in my first time is that they surely great blogs with so many traffic each days. The story seems only about how easy to be an success blogger. Yeah – it is surely what we will feel when we read the fave blogs in their current state. But, sometimes this can be harm – only read their current post do not give any benefits for new bloggers because they write in their success state and their advance tutorial is surely hard to follow by new blog.
So, must we fave new blog only so we can gain benefits?
Of course no. We still can get benefit for success blog. We can get benefit by optimize what we read from favorite success blogs. In other and simple word – by read our favorite blogs in right way.
What and how is right way to read favorite blogs?
We can surely benefit from favorite success blogs by read all their old posts – yeah, read all and do not miss one. Their old posts surely tell us the complete story how they reach the current successful state – and what they do for it. We surely learn more things if compare by only read their current posts. They current post may mislead us if we do not know how they reach their current state. We may think it is easy to gain success in blogging and may think that there are no hard work needed for it. This kind of thought surely will lead us to blogging dooms fast. Therefore, please read all of your favorite blog old posts to get the whole picture how they can be in their current (success) state.
And please note that I do not say that we do not get zero benefit by reading our favorite blog’s current post but I only tell that we can get optimum learning result from our favorite blogs if we also read their old blog posts. And for your info, this article is result of my thought when aware that there are more benefit that I get from John Chow dot com old posts (one of my favorite blogs) – if I compare it with his new blog posts. That’s surely not because the new blog posts are bad quality – but it is more because the old posts which can fulfill my current needs as new blogger. John Chow’s old blog posts tell me what I should do to gain success in blogging as new bloggers. In contrary, John Chow’s new blog post tell me what I can do after my blog in success state – which my blog is not in that state yet.

Yeah — you may put on that way but i believe the more we read the more we can benefit. But yeah — it is surely consume our time a lot.

I think every blog that we read adds something to our knowledge, i try to read most of the blogs around, yes there is limited time, but still we should try our best to read as much as possible
