I always thought that the disaster for Blogger is happened because of the blog related problem only. I always thought that Blogging disaster is happened when we as Bloggers face problem with our blog (such as database problem) while we do not have data backup to do blogging disaster recovery. Yes, that’s what I always thought back then about blogging disaster. It is before I am facing the truth — the truth which tells me there is another blogging problem which can lead into blogging disaster situation.
Yes, it is true that do not have backup data for recovering while face problem in our blog is disaster. However, I think I miss another mandatory blogging problem which we can call as blogging disaster. I surely must pay much for this missing because I am not anticipated it. It makes me in hard situation now – indeed, I am in very hard situation because of this another blogging disaster. A blogging disaster which make there is no new post for this blogging tips blog for a long time – more than a week without any new blog posting indeed. And that’s not the only the loss that I experience. You will find other loss in below.
The Broken Laptop Lead Me Into Blogging Disaster
Honestly, this blogging disaster is still related with data backup. The difference is this data backup is not for blog data but for laptop. It lead to blogging disaster when we face laptop problem while all of our blogging data — such as blog data backup, next blog post data, make money blogging data, etc — are in it without any data backup in other place. This situation is which I am facing now. My Compaq Presario CQ40-416 AU and need time to be fixed.
Indeed, it is still in maintenance process until I post this article and I think it need more than two weeks to solve it completely. Yes, I know that I will not face this problem if I bought a better quality laptop back then but I can not turn back the time, right? Therefore the only choice that I have is to face it and try to learn something so no need to face it again in future. Let’s learn together trough this article.
New Blog Post is Gone With The Broken Laptop
This broken laptop situation lead me into blogging disaster situation fast. I find that new blog post is gone with the broken laptop. It is hard to create new blog post while all the data are missing. As you may already aware, I usually already have a week blog post plan in my laptop. This one blog post plan which make me able to update this blog regularly each other day. A week blog post plan includes all research data to create a great blog post.
This blog updating is fully depended on it. That’s why it is really hard for me to create new blog post when I lost all of this one week blog post plan data. It is a real shock for me – shock the whole of my blogging exactly. I surely need time to recover from this shocking situation. It is also required time to do new research for blog post. Indeed, it is really hard to recover fast when there are no backup data and also it is hard to adapt with this new situation – situation in where I do not have my old resources for blog post creation. It make me need to do resources collected from very start again which is a hard work while all resources is gone.
My Blogging Earning is Gone With The Broken Laptop
This current blogging disaster affects my blogging earning as well. It is because all of my make money blogging data are also gone with the broken laptop. And it is vital for my current make money blogging activities because all of my partner and buyer data is in it. And do not forget all planning and resources from make money blogging research – all of it are also gone. Indeed, it is already cost me $200 in very beginning of this blogging disaster – a big loss for me. Yes, it is a big deal if your earning is only $300 per month. And as like blog post, it is required time to finally recover from this situation. I even can say that there is no fully recovery for it except if I able to get the whole my old data back.
The Learning: Preparation! Backup, Backup, and Backup!
This current blogging problem makes me realize that only do blog data backup into our laptop is surely not enough. We also should have data backup of our whole data of our laptop data. I think an online backup may be great for this. My blogging activities surely will recover fast if I have data backup of my laptop in online – just need to connect my new laptop to internet and than I can do my blogging as usual. Yeah – I think online backup will become important part of my blogging plan in future. So fellow bloggers, please always prepare! Backup, backup, and backup!

It is a serious problem when you lose the important data. I faced this problem last year, after forgetting to backup data, my site lost many blog posts. Since then, I always backup my blog every week in 2 places, one in my laptop and one in my PC. Maybe it is safe enough now.

That is quite a bad news. Similar to Sire, that kind of problem would not affect my blogging too but it is still bad when your laptop or PC goes down since you have so much data inside it

This sort of problem wouldn’t affect my blogging at all as I don’t store any blogging data on my computer, apart from backups that is.
Still, I as my computer is very important to my business I always make sure that I backup any business related data.

Thats why I save all important files both in my laptop and desktop.If one gone I can use another.

Yup it is bad if your PC/laptop problem.. It can effect in our life..
I’m suggest use a google document for simple writing.. I’ve used it now after my PC (don’t have any laptop yet.. )..
it is much more safe than depend on PC/laptop..
