Adding Social Networking Links to Blog

Online social networking plays the important role in blog build. Online social networking is believed can boost blog popularity and rank in internet world. That’s because online social networking have so many niche potential traffic and also have some do-follow link in it. I can tell that if we choose the right online social networking to advertise our blog, the blog surely becomes bigger. Online social networking include social bookmarking, social networking, email (milist), microbloging, and others sharing site.

And what I found good about online social networking is that it allows others to advertise any blog. So, you no need to put your blog in online social networking by your self. There are many people will put your blog in online social networking if they think it worthy to share. Therefore, what you need to do is write the worthy posts and leaves advertisement to the blog readers. I am sure the worthy posts alone can do it, but it is not enough. We still need to encourage the readers to advertise our worthy posts. One of the ways is to put online social networking add link in each of our posts.

It surely saves the time for our blog readers regarding to advertise our blog in online social networking. Therefore, I search in internet how I can put this online social networking link in this Blogging blog (letupdate.com). And eureka! I found there is one WordPress Plugin that suit my needs. This WordPress Plugin is known as “Add to Any”. “Add to Any” Plugin seems fulfill all that I need according online social networking add link. “Add to Any” Plugin cover almost all of the biggest online social networking such as twitter, digg, Facebook, goggle, yahoo, delicious, technorati. It covers over 100 online social networking.

“Add to Any” WordPress Plugin Installation

Go to “Site Admin” page
Click “Plugins” tab
Click “Add New” button
Fill “Add to Any” in search box
Click “Install” button of “Add to Any”
Click “Install Now” button
Click “Activate Plugin”

Ok, “Add to Any” already installed successfully in this blog. Now, I must do some setting on it.

“Add to Any” WordPress Plugin Setting

Go to “Settings” tab and click it
Click “Share/Save Buttons” button
Click “Add/Remove Serive >>” button
Choose the online social networking that I want appears as standalone button
Choose the suitable button at “button” part
Choose to only show share button in full post at “placement” part
Choose hide embedded object and only show the menu when user click at “Menu Options” part
Click “Save Changes” button

Ok, “Add to Any” settings already done. I think a current setting is already enough for this blog regarding online social networking menu. For advance and optimize setting, I am still learning it.
