Excellent benefits, Dana. I appreciate that you put friendships as #1 and reputation as #2. I think many bloggers think of these as afterthoughts, so they miss out on the best benefits of guest posting. You certainly have put the most important ones in proper perspective.

I haven’t tried any guest post to a certain blog though the term guest blogging and it’s benefits are already clear to me. My preoccupation also is being get rejected by the blog admin.

Thanks for those who become part of the discussions here. Your ideas somehow motivated me to try guest blogging. I hope it will really help in improving my blog traffic.

After your post “Write short post, please” I thought I would never ever visit your blog As you can see, I’m here again.

This is great to see bloggers, who improve their blogging.. like you. And now I can see, that you have jumped even further than me in blog promotion, because of your first 2 guest posts. Keep it up

PS. I have noticed also 2 things you could improve in your English speech:
1. You often say “he/she/it do/make/write”. You miss the ending “s”, because when you speak of some 3rd person in singular form you should say “he goes somewhere” or “it was amazing” etc;
2. You also can improve your speech with not repeating the words “yeah” and “yup” – it sounds not that good

If you’re serious about blogging, then you, probably, should really put your english grammar on the first place to improve! And you need someone to teach you

Hi Dana, sorry to take so long with my comment. It’s been a crazy week but I made sure to make it. It’s not often I can say I agree with all the above but I really do. You make some excellent points here and all of them have proven to be correct in all my guest blogging experiences.

The only thing about guest blogging that is something you need to watch for is grammar and spelling. Sometimes this can be a turn off for many readers. I always suggest reading and re reading your content before submitting it.
